Pepo House is situated in Kizingoni Beach, Lamu, Kenya. The house is elevated ensuring the place is airy and it always catches the lightest of Indian Ocean breezes. Pepo is a Kiswahili word which means wind.
On arriving at the house though the private beach path you will first see the welcoming pool which is positioned amid two mature indigenous shade trees, the swinging beds and the outside dining pavilion. The big veranda offers a stretchy seating area which leads off the internal ground floor baraza area.
The house has an outside dining room and an inside dining area complete with concealed fridge and fitted drinks cupboard. Roof terrace provides cool living space for drinking, eating and relaxing.
The ground floor has is a large cool twin en-suite bedroom suitable for children. There is an internal staircase that leads up to two en-suite double-bed guest rooms on the first floor and on up further to the second floor where a wonderfully, cool and gracious master bedroom leads off a private terrace with panoramic views of the sea and palm trees.
The separate guesthouse alongside the main house has 2 en-suite double-bed guestrooms, in addition to a poolroom/massage room.

There house has six en-suite bedrooms in total, 5 are double rooms and one is a twin. The main house has a twin bedroom for children on the ground floor, 2 double bedrooms on the first floor and a master suite on the 2nd floor, with a large private balcony. The other two double rooms are in the separate guesthouse building adjacent to the main house, and here there is also a pool changing room which is also used for massage treatments.
